Matter of Fat started with something simple. I wanted skincare I could really trust.
I’m Christina, a wife, a mom of two girls and, the person behind Matter of Fat. What began as a jar of tallow cream I made for my own family turned into a reminder that skincare doesn’t have to be complicated to work.

We make moisturizers and oils with ingredients your skin already knows, like 100% grass-fed Canadian tallow and organic, cold-pressed oils. They’re straightforward, nourishing, and made to take the guesswork out of your routine.
